Tasting notes | Shiraz

Only very limited (50) cases of this super premium Shiraz have been produced. Normally these grapes have gone into the top of the Tyrells range which is understandable given they come from vines over 30 years old producing small quantities of the finest grapes. 2003 was a very dry year and this combined with the age of the vines grown in the rich clay soils of Pokolbin make this a very special Shiraz. This wine can be cellared for at least 10 years and will be at its best in a few years time. It is however drinking well now.
