Wine Ordering Conditions
For any wine ordered through the web site, the sale is made direct between Colvin Wines Pty Ltd and the customer, via the internet, in much the same way as any other sale. Vignerons and wineries are not allowed to sell wine to anyone who is not 18 years old or over. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. It is an offence to sell or supply to or to obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. If you are buying a case of wine as a gift – the recipient must also be over 18 years old. If the wine couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the wine is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately the couriers will be unable to leave the wine.
Prices & Payment
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods & Services Tax (GST). Delivery charges are as quoted. We accept Visa and MasterCard, alternative payments can be made, see form or email before ordering online for more details.
Delivery of Goods
Anyone at the specified delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed by Colvin Wines Pty Ltd to be authorised to receive the goods on your behalf. Colvin Wines Pty Ltd may request that the person who receives the goods at the delivery address provide satisfactory evidence of proof of age. Colvin Wines Pty Ltd will refuse to deliver the goods if the person receiving the goods is unable or unwilling to provide evidence of proof of age.
Breakages
If you receive your order and it is damaged please contact us immediately so that we can organise a replacement or refund. Replacements and refunds will only be given once the damaged goods are returned.
Returns
If some or all of the bottles of wine in a case are broken, corked or not of merchantable quality when they are delivered, please notify us as soon as possible. You may choose either to return the whole case for a refund or a replacement. We will refund you as soon as the wine is received and we are satisfied the defect has occurred.
